Connecting a DVD or Blu-ray player

Connecting a VCR or DVD player
To connect a VCR or DVD player with component cables:
1Make sure that your TV/DVD combo’s power cord is unplugged and the VCR or DVD player is turned off.
2Connect a component video cable (provided) to the COMPONENT IN/Y, PB, PR jacks on the back of your TV/DVD combo and to the COMPONENT OUT jacks on the VCR or DVD player.

3If you are connecting a DVI device, connect an audio cable with stereo mini plug (not provided) to the PC/DVI AUDIO IN jack on the back of your TV/DVD combo and to the AUDIO OUT jack on the DVI
device.
4Reconnect the power cord to your TV/DVD combo.
Note
A DVI device can only be connected to the HDMI1 jack. If you connect a DVI device to the HDMI2 jack, you will not hear sound.
To play from a DVD or1Turn on your TV/DVD combo, then press INPUT to
open the INPUT SOURCE list.
2Press INPUT repeatedly, or press or to select
HDMI 1 or HDMI 2, then press ENTER/.3Turn on the DVD or
3Connect an audio cable (provided) to the L, R audio jacks on the back of your TV/DVD combo and to the L/R AUDIO OUT jacks on the VCR or DVD player.
4Reconnect the power cord to your TV/DVD combo.
Note
The COMPONENT IN/Y, PB, PR (component video) jacks share the audio jacks with the VIDEO IN/AV jack (composite video).
To play from the component video device:1Turn on your TV/DVD combo, then press INPUT to
open the INPUT SOURCE list.
2Press INPUT repeatedly, or press or to select Component, then press ENTER/.
3Turn on the VCR or DVD player.
