	Setting parental controls

•Button Lock—Set to On to lock the buttons on the front of the TV.

•Block Unrated TV—Set to On to block TV programs that are not rated.

•USA Parental Locks—Select this sub-menu to change US parent lock settings. See “Setting parental control levels” on page 18.

•Canadian Parental Locks—Select this sub-menu to change Canadian parent lock settings. See “Setting parental control levels” on page 18.

•Change Password—Select this option to change the password. See “Setting or changing the password” on page 18.

•RRT5—Select this option to download ratings. See “Downloading rating information” on page 19.

6Press EXIT to close the menu.

Setting or changing the password

To set the parental control password:

1Press MENU. The on-screen menu opens.

4Press the number buttons to enter the four-digit password. The default password is 0000. The Parental Controls sub-menu opens.

7Enter the new password again, to confirm.

8 Press EXIT to close the menu.

Setting parental control levels

You can set parental controls for the U.S. and Canada. The following procedure shows how to set controls for U.S. TV ratings. You use similar steps for controlling U.S. movie and Canadian TV ratings.

To set parental controls:
