5-2. Enabling/Disabling Automatic Brightness Adjustment
The ambient light sensor on the front side of the monitor detects the e nvironmental brightness to adjust the sc reen
brightness automatically and comfort ably by using the Auto EcoView function.
Attention
• Be ca reful not to block the ambient light sensor on the lower side of the mon itor when using the Auto EcoView function.
• Auto Ec oView cannot be used when ColorNavigator and/or ColorNavigator Elements is used.
Procedure
1. Choose “ PowerManager” from the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “Auto EcoView” from “PowerManager”, and press .
3. Select “On” or “Of f” with or .
4. Pre ss to exit.
Note
• For this r eason, as “Brightness” in th e Adjustment menu is changed, the auto adjust ment range is also changed.
5-3. Checking the Power Saving Level
The EcoView menu allows you to check Power Reduction, CO2 Reduction, and Eco Performance Level. The more
indicators light up representing the E co Performance Level, the higher the power saving level attained.
Procedure
1. Choose “ PowerManager” from the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “E coView Index” from “PowerManager”, and press .
The “EcoView Index” appears.
5-4. Adjusting the Brightness of Indicator
The brightness of the power indicator (blue) can be adjusted. (D efault setting: 4)
Procedure
1. Choose “ PowerManager” from the Adjustment menu, and press .
2. Choose “I ndicator” from “PowerManager”, and press .
3. Select the i ndicator brightness “Off” or in t he range from 1 to 7 with or as desired.
4. Pre ss to exit.
