3. Afterimag es appear. • AfterimagesareparticulartoLCDm onitors.Avoid
displayingthesameimageforalongtime.
• Usethescreensaverorpowersavingfunctiontoavoid
displayingthesameimageforextendedperio dsoftime.
4. Green/red/ blue/white dots or defec tive
dots remain on the screen .
• ThisisduetoLCDpanelcharacteristicsandisn ota
failure.
5. Interfe rence patterns or pressure m arks
remain on the screen.
• Leavethemonitorwithawhiteorblackscreen.The
symptommaydisappear.
6. Noise appear s on the screen. • IntheAdjustmentmenu,set“Overdrive”to“Off ”(see“2-6.

• WhenenteringthesignalsofHDCP,thenormalimages
maynotbedisplayedimmediately.
7. (DisplayPort input)
Display position of the wi ndows changes.
• Whenthesignalisswitched,thepositionofth ewindow
maybechanged.IntheAdjustmentmenu,set“DPPower
Save”to“Off”(see“5-5.Set tingDisplayPortPowerSave”
(page36)).
8. (HDMI input) Disp lays are abnormal. • Use“Screen”-"Colo rSpace"undertheAdjustmentmenu
toadjustit.
9. An image does not d isplay on the entire
screen.
• Thescreenissettoasizeotherthan“Full”.Changethe
settingto“Full”.
