9.Push the ink cartridge clamp toward the back of the printer until it locks in place. The Pause light begins flashing.
10.Press the Alt button again. The printer mechanism moves while the Pause light continues to flash.

11.When the Pause light quits flashing and stays on, press the Pause button and close the printer cover.
Note:
If you have print quality problems after you replace the cartridge, try cleaning the print heads as described in Chapter 5.
