You can’t play your movies on the projector.

The projector only supports MPEG2 files. It does not support MPEG1 files.

Movie files included in a PowerPoint presentation can’t be played back in a scenario.

EasyMP is unable to see the image files on your camera or external drive.

Make sure your camera or drive shows up on your desktop as a drive letter when you connect it to your computer. If it does, it is probably a USB-mounted device and will work with your projector. The projector does not support TWAIN-compliant digital cameras.

Solving Problems with the Remote Control

The projector doesn’t respond to remote control commands.

The remote control’s batteries may not be installed correctly or may be low on power. To change the batteries, see page 28.

Make sure you are within about 20 feet (6 meters) of the projector and within range of the projector’s front or back sensor (approximately 30° to the left or right and 15° above or below).

Dim the room lights and turn off any fluorescent lights. Make sure the projector is not in direct sunlight. Strong lighting, especially fluorescent lights, may affect the projector’s infrared receivers. Also, turn off any nearby equipment that emits infrared energy, such as a radiant room heater.

If any buttons are held for longer than 30 seconds, the remote enters sleep mode. Release any button that is held to wake the remote.
