If you are using a serial interface, set the parity, ba ud rate, number
of data bits, and number of stop bits t o m atch the computer.
The emulation setting for the port may not be correct. Specify the
emulation mode with the SelecType.
If the printer still does not print correctly, cont a ct your dealer or
a qualified service person
Make sure that you are using the c orrect page length and margin
settings in your software program.
Make sure that your software progra m is set for the printer
emulation you are using. For example, if you are us ing the LJ4
emulation mode, be sure tha t your software program i s set to use
a LaserJet 4 printer.
If you are using a serial interface, m ake sure that you set the parity,
baud rate, number of data bits, and number of sto p bits to match
the computer.
