You can select duplex printing either thr ough the printer driver
software, or through the printer’s c o ntrol panel.
Using the printer driver:
Check the Duplex Unit check box on the Basic Setting menu
(except Windows NT 3.51) or D ocume nt Se tting menu (Wind ows
NT 3.51) of the printer driver.
Using SelecType:
Follow the instruction in the section on SelecType to change this
setting. You should use the Pr inting menu for this ("Duplex" , page
5-18).
Removing the Duplex Unit
When you wish to move or store the printer, or if you wish to
transfer the duplex unit to another printer, you should follow the
procedures described below.
1. Make sure that the computer and printer are turned off,
remove the power cord from the wall outl e t and from the
printer. Remove any interface cables from the pr inter.
2. Push the release button to ope n the vertical unit of the duplex
unit fully.
