Note:
❏Always pull the tab horizontally. It may break if you pull it at
an angle.
❏Always make sure that the top of the cartridge is uppermost
when you do this; if the cartridge is on its side, or upside-down,
you may cause serious damage to the cartridge.
7. Hold the cartridge as shown below, and lo ca te it into the
guide channels inside the printer body. I ns ert it into the
printer until it clicks into place. You sh ould use the colored
markers on the cartridge and insi de the printer to align the
cartridge correctly.
8. Close the printer cover.
9. Make sure the printer is on line. Pr ess the Menu button on the
printer’s control panel until the Setup menu displays on the
display. Then press the Item button several times until to the
Toner Count Clear menu displays and press the Enter button.
Your printer’s toner counter is now rese t.
