Indicator Lights
On Line On when the printer is on line, indicating the
printer can receive and print data. Whe n the
printer is off line, this light is off. The light
flashes as the system switches between on-
line and off-line status.
Form Feed On when data is received and stored in the
printer’s buffer but not yet printed. Flashing
indicates the printer is processing d a ta.
When no data remains in the printer buffer
(the section of memory reserved for
receiving data), this light is off.
Continue Flashes when an error is detected or a
maintenance procedure must be performed.
At the same time, an error or mainten ance
message appears on the display.
OneTouch
mode 1 On when the printer is in OneTouch mode
1. The following settings can be made in this
mode: Paper Source, Page Size, Manual
Feed, Orientation. For details of how to use
this OneTouch mode, see "OneTouch mode
1", page 5-14.
OneTouch
mode 2 On when the printer is in OneTouch mode
2. The following settings can be made in this
mode: RITech, Copies, MP Tray Size, Toner
Save.
SelecType On when the printer is in SelecType mode.
