5.5.1.3 Performing the CL operation for 2 ~ 3 times
This section describes the cleaning operation if you find a print missing on the 360-DPI check pattern. You
need a confirmationeither the CL opeartionis correctly performed or not in this function..
[Step1] Perform theCL operation. (Underthe pause state, pressing theClening button)
[Step2] Pay attentionto the sponge inthe cap either the ink is correctly suppliedor not ( In case of color
headinstal led,the color of YMC becomes clearfrom the right side.In case of black head installed,
thesponge becomes black evenly.)
[Step3] If anink is notcorrectly supplied, check the underitems before youadvance to nextstep
beforegoing to the nextstep on the main flowchart.
Observing thecap from above, makesure there are notany bents ,holes or scars on the surface.
Note:
If youcan not find any problems about the pump unit systemor the above contents, there
is a possibility thatan ink in the ink cartridge has already emptied in spite of any counter
values, sothat it is necessary to replace to the brand-new ink cartridge Also, if user
perform removingor installing with the same ink cartridge, it will not recover the
dot-missing every time you performthe CL operation, because the constructure of the
print headis very complex as compair to previous headsystem. Therefore, replace to the
brand-new ink cartridge at this time.
