¾RS232 Parity: This field is to select the parity level at which you will be connected. You can choose between None, Odd, or Even parity levels. Default is set to None. To change this, simply use the arrow keys on the DVR which also represent the channel 1-4 keys (These are the top four buttons). Use the up and down arrow keys to make your selection.

¾RS232 Data Bit: This field is the data bit at which you will be transferring.

There are two settings for this option: 8 or 7. The default is set to 8. To change this, simply use the arrow keys on the DVR which also represent the channel 1-4 keys (These are the top four buttons). Use the up and down arrow keys to make your selection.

RS485:

¾RS485 Baud Rate: This field is to set the speed at which is used to transmit instruction or information through the RS485 port on the DVR. There are six different speeds, 1200 BPS, 2400 BPS, 4800 BPS, 9600 BPS, 19200 BPS, and 3840 BPS. The default setting from the factory is 9600 BPS. To change this, simply use the arrow keys on the DVR which also represent the channel 1-4 keys (These are the top four buttons). Use the up and down arrow keys to make your selection.

¾RS485 Stop Bit: This field is to set the stop bit for the RS485 connection. There are two different stop bits, 1 or 2. The default in the DVR is set to 1. To change this, simply use the arrow keys on the DVR which also represent the channel 1-4 keys (These are the top four buttons). Use the up and down arrow keys to make your selection.
