The ThinCom has dual functions in one card, the Fax/Data Modem portion allows you to use data communication such as connecting to an on-line service or the Internet, or send and receive fax. Ethernet Local Area Network portion give you the connection to your LAN server. These two functions can be performed simultaneously. For example down load a file from a remote location to a network drive.
