VERIFY THIS DISCONNECT IS IN

THE OFF POSITION WHEN:

*The UPS is being installed.

*The UPS is to be turned off or stored for more than five days.

*Connecting external battery banks.

*Servicing the UPS.

WARNING

NEVER TURN OFF THIS

DISCONNECT WHILE THE UPS IS

OPERATING FROM UTILITY.

POWER OR DAMAGE MAY RESULT. ALWAYS TURN OFF THE UPS FIRST.

IMPORTANT

TO TURN OFF THE UPS

SWITCH THE INPUT CIRCUIT BREAKER LOCATED ON THE UPS REAR PANEL TO THE “OFF” POSITION AND PRESS THE ON/OFF BUTTON LOCATED ON THE UPS FRONT PANEL UNTIL THE UPS BEEPS. THE UPS WILL RUN FOR ABOUT 30 SECONDS AND SHUT DOWN. DO NOT PRESS THE ON/OFF BUTTON OR TURN THE CIRCUIT BREAKER ON AGAIN DURING THE SHUTDOWN PROCESS OR THE UPS WILL GO TO AN ALARM CONDITION, WARNING THAT THE UPS WAS NOT SHUT DOWN PROPERLY. SHOULD THIS OCCUR, TURN OFF THE INPUT CIRCUIT BREAKER AGAIN AND WAIT UNTIL THE UPS SHUTS DOWN.
