Maintenance

When servicing the meter, use only the replacement parts specified.
Introduction
Chapter 6 provides the information necessary for the user to perform basic maintenance. Users should not attempt to perform maintenance not described in this chapter. Qualified service personnel should refer to the 45 Service Manual (P/N 856042) for complete main- tenance, service, and calibration procedures.

To avoid damaging the meters housing, never apply solvents to the meter.

Line Fuse
The meter has a T 125mA, 250V, (Slow blow) line fuse in series with the power supply. This fuse is located on the rear panel. To replace this fuse, unplug the line cord and remove the fuse holder with fuse as shown in Figure
