Occasionally, it may be necessary to reboot the MA server system, i.e. after installing a Windows security upgrade. To do this, it is necessary to:

1.Power down the MA server on the virtual machine.

This step immediately stops the MA server regardless of the programs that are running.

Select the server in the VM environment.

Click on the red Power Off button.

2.Shut down the VMware application.

3.Conduct Windows restart of the MA server system.

When powering up the MA server the VMware virtual machine starts automatically in the background as the system is booting. It can take up to 10 minutes for the virtual machine to load all necessary services, including the MA server.

For more information about the VMware Control Console, refer to official VMware documentation.
