Name The name of the IP custom service.

Protocol Type Select the protocol type of the service you are adding: IP.

Protocol Number The IP protocol number for the service.

Configuring custom services

To add a custom TCP or UDP service

1Go to Firewall > Service > Custom.

2Select Create New.

3Enter a name for the new custom TCP or UDP service.

4Select TCP or UDP as the Protocol Type.

5Specify Source and Destination Port number ranges for the service by entering the low and high port numbers. If the service uses one port number, enter this number in both the low and high fields.

6Select OK.

You can now add this custom service to a policy.

To add a custom ICMP service

1Go to Firewall > Service > Custom.

2Select Create New.

3Enter a name for the new custom ICMP service.

4Select ICMP as the Protocol Type.

5Enter the ICMP type number and code number for the service.

6Select OK.

You can now add this custom service to a policy.

To add a custom IP service

1Go to Firewall > Service > Custom.

2Select Create New.

3Enter a name for the new custom IP service.

4Select IP as the Protocol Type.

5Enter the IP protocol number for the service.
