2.4 Conexión a la línea de gas (cont.)

PELIGRO

Deben sellarse todas las conexiones con un compuesto adecuado para uniones según el gas que se está usando y deben probarse todas las conexiones con una solución de agua jabonosa antes de encender los pilotos.

Nunca use cerillos o fósforos, velas ni otros tipos de elementos inflamables para verificar si hay fugas. Si se detecta olor a gas, corte el suministro de gas al aparato en la válvula de cierre principal y comuníquese inmediatamente con la compañía de gas local o con una agencia de servicio autorizado para solicitar servicio.

3.Cierre la válvula de drenaje de la freidora y llene la olla de la freidora con agua y solución para hervido hasta la línea inferior del NIVEL DE ACEITE en la parte de atrás de la olla. Encienda la freidora y realice el procedimiento de hervido que se describe en las secciones sobre “Instrucciones de encendido” y “Hervido de la freidora” que se encuentran en el Capítulo 3 de este manual.

PELIGRO

Si la unidad se “enciende en seco” ocasionará daños a la olla de la freidora y puede causar

un incendio. Cerciórese siempre que haya en la olla de la freidora manteca vegetal

derretida, aceite para cocinar o agua antes de encender su unidad.

4.En este momento la compañía de gas local o el agente de servicio autorizado debe verificar la presión del múltiple del quemador. Las tablas a continuación indican la presión correcta del múltiple del quemador:
