4.1Drenaje y filtración manual (cont.)

2.Ponga bajo la tubería de drenaje un recipiente metálico con una cubierta sellada. El recipiente metálico debe poder soportar el calor del aceite o manteca y poder contener líquidos calientes. Si su intención es volver a usar el aceite o manteca, use un soporte de cono de filtro y un cono de filtro Frymaster cuando no se tenga disponible una máquina filtradora. Si usa un soporte de cono de filtro Frymaster, compruebe que el soporte del cono esté apoyado firmemente en el recipiente metálico.

3.Abra lentamente la válvula de drenaje para evitar las salpicaduras. Si se atasca la válvula de drenaje con partículas de alimentos, use el Fryer’s Friend (herramienta tipo atizador) para despejar el bloqueo.

PELIGRO

NO inserte objetos extraños en el drenaje por delante para despejar la válvula. El aceite o

manteca caliente saldrá violentamente, creando un peligro extremo.

ADVERTENCIA

NO golpee la válvula de drenaje con el Fryer’s Friend. Esto dañará la esfera de la válvula de drenaje y evitará que la válvula selle en forma segura, ocasionando fugas en la válvula.

4.Una vez que haya drenado el aceite o manteca, limpie todas las partículas de alimentos y residuos de aceite o manteca de la olla de la freidora. Sea precavido ya que los residuos de la freidora pueden causar quemaduras graves si tocan la piel.

5.Cierre firmemente la válvula de drenaje y llene la olla de la freidora con aceite o manteca vegetal sólida filtrada o fresca hasta la línea de NIVEL DE ACEITE en la parte inferior.

PELIGRO

Cuando use manteca sólida, presiónela contra la zona fría y el fondo de la olla de la freidora. NO haga funcionar la freidora con un bloque de manteca colocado en la parte superior de la olla de la freidora. Esto resultará en daños irreparables a la olla de la freidora y puede ocasionar un incendio repentino.
