Using the Menus: Playback Mode

D PROTECT

Protect pictures from accidental deletion.

1 Select D PROTECT in the playback menu.

2 Highlight one of the following options and press MENU/OK:

•FRAME: Protect selected pictures. Press the selector left or right to view pictures and press MENU/OK to select or deselect. Press DISP/BACK when the operation is complete.

•SET ALL: Protect all pictures.

•RESET ALL: Remove protection from all pic- tures.

Protected pictures will be deleted when the memory card or internal memory is formatted (P 102).

G CROP

Create a cropped copy of the current picture.

1 Display the desired picture.

2 Select G CROP in the playback menu.

3 Use the kand nbuttons to zoom the image in and out and use the selector to scroll the picture until the desired portion is displayed.

4 Press MENU/OK to display a confirmation dialog.

5 Press MENU/OK again to save the cropped copy to a separate file.

Larger crops produce larger copies; all copies have an aspect ratio of 4 : 3. If the size of the final copy will be a, OK will be displayed in yellow.

bIntelligent Face Detection

If the picture was shot with Intelligent Face Detection (P 55), gwill be displayed in the monitor. Press the g button to zoom in on the selected face.
