Pictures taken at continuous shooting modes of I, O, and L are always displayed after shooting. Pic- tures taken in other continuous shooting modes are recorded without being displayed.

Blink Detection (pg. 32)

At settings other than OFF, a warning will be dis- played if the camera detects subjects who may have blinked when the picture was taken. If ZOOM (CON- TINUOUS) is selected, you can view these subjects using zoom.

BFRAME NO.

New pictures are stored in

image files named using a four-digit f ile number as- signed by adding one to the

last f ile number used. The file number is displayed dur- ing playback as shown at right.

controls whether file numbering is reset to 0001 when a new memory card is inserted or the cur- rent memory card is formatted.

CONTINUOUS: Numbering continues from the last file number used or the first available file num- ber, whichever is higher. Choose this option to reduce the number of pictures with duplicate ilef names.

RENEW: Numbering is reset to 0001 after format- ting or when a new memory card is inserted.

If the frame number reaches 999-9999, the shutter release will be disabled (pg. 114).

Selecting RRESET (pg. 96) resets BFRAME NO. to CONTINUOUS but does not reset frame numbering.

Frame numbers for pictures taken with other cam- eras may differ.
