Using the Menus: Shooting Mode

PFINEPIX COLOR

Enhance contrast and color saturation or take pic- tures in black and white.

Option

Description

F-STANDARD

Standard contrast and saturation.

 

Recommended in most situations.

 

Vivid contrast and color. Choose

F-CHROME

for vivid shots of fl owers or en-

hanced greens and blues in land-

 

 

scapes.

F-B&W

Take pictures in black and white.

Settings other than F-STANDARDare shown by an icon in the display.

FINEPIX COLOR is not reset when the camera is turned off or another shooting mode is selected.

The effects of F-CHROMEvary from scene to scene and may be difficult to discern with some subjects. Depending on the subject, the effects of F-CHROMEmay not be visible in the display.

Using the Shooting Menu

1Press MENU/OK to display the shoot- ing menu.

2 Press the selector up or down to highlight the desired menu item.

3Press the selector right to display op- tions for the highlighted item.

4 Press the selector up or down to highlight the desired option.

5 Press MENU/OK to select the high- lighted option.
