The Setup Menu
IPLAYBACK VOLUME
Press the selector up or down to choose volume for movie and voice memo playback and press MENU/OK to select.
JLCD BRIGHTNESS
Press the selector up or down to choose display brightness and press MENU/OK to select.
MAUTO POWER OFF
Choose the length of time before the camera turns off automatically when no operations are performed. Shorter times increase battery life; if OFF is selected, the camera must be turned off manually. Note that regardless of the option selected, the camera will not turn off automati- cally when connected to a printer (pg. 60) or com- puter (pg. 70) or when a slide show is in progress (pg. 84).
2Tip: Reactivating the Camera
To reactivate the camera after it has turned off auto- matically, use the Gswitch or press the abut- ton for about a second (pg. 13).
DDIGITAL ZOOM
If ON is selected, selecting T at the maximum optical zoom position will trigger digital zoom, further magnifying the image. To cancel digital zoom, zoom out to the minimum digital zoom position and select W.
