6498780 On the SPARC Enterprise M4000/M5000 servers, the OpenBoot. PROM (OBP) might not detect the on-board disk (HDD) boot device. Performing a boot disk results in a console message:

Can’t locate boot device

Issue a reset-allcommand from the OBP (OK) prompt and reboot.

Check for the availability of the latest controller card firmware.

The PCI or PCI-X plug-in adapter card might not be seated correctly. Reseat the card in slot 0 of the IOU.
