Problems with the S130

Troubleshooting

8.1.1 Displays in the case of a hardware error

The S130 informs you of hardware errors in the following manner:

On the S130 control panel

If the yellow CHECK light illuminates, there may be a hardware error.

At the same time, the FLAG code appears on the LCD display. This can indicate an error in the service processor or a machine error.

On the screen of the SKP console in the SVPST0 window

On the SKP console, displays in line 24 in the SVPST0 window of the SVP frame can indicate a hardware error. Evaluation of the FLAG code is carried out by the service department. The following diagram shows the format of the error display:

FLAG CODE = FFFFFFFF FFFFFFFF

The FLAG code FF . . . FF can have different meanings and can therefore require different measures:

A WRITE-CONSOL message is displayed. It can be deleted with the F3 key. This does not delete the FLAG code display.

A warning is issued, e.g. if the room temperature is too high. The cause of the error must be eradicated. System operation can continue in the meantime.

An error has occurred in the S130 or on the interface to the peripheral devices which was automatically corrected by the hardware. In this case, system operation can also be continued.

An error has occurred which does not permit system operation to be continued. In the last case, you can take the following measures:

If the system is down, execute an IMPL. If this does not solve the problem, contact the service department and discuss what steps should be taken.
