Supplied cables used in this connection are as follows:

Please purchase the rest of the necessary cables at your local store.

Before connecting, ensure the AC power cords of all devices are NOT connected to the AC outlets.

1Refer to “Connecting an Antenna” on page 9 to connect the STB to an antenna.

2Use a standard audio/video cable to connect the AUDIO/VIDEO OUT jacks on the STB to the audio/video input jacks on the DVD recorder.

3Use a standard audio/video cable to connect the audio/video output jack on the DVD recorder to the audio/ video input jack on the TV.

4Plug all AC power cords into AC outlets, then turn all devices on.

5Set the TV and DVD recorder to input mode.

Refer to your TV’s or DVD recorder’s manual for details.

NOTE:

If your DVD recorder is monaural (MONO) and has only one audio jack, use a standard audio cable (white) to connect the AUDIO OUT jack (white) on STB to the audio input jack (white) on the DVD. The red cable and jack will not be used.
