Supplied cables used in this connection are as follows:

RF cable x1

Please purchase the rest of the necessary cables at your local store.

Before connecting, ensure the AC power cords of all devices are NOT connected to the AC outlets.

1Use an RF cable to connect the antenna to the ANT. IN jack on the STB.

2Use an RF cable to connect the incoming cable to the antenna input jack on the cable box.

3Use an RF cable to connect the antenna output jack on the cable box to the antenna input jack on the TV.

4Refer to “Connecting to TV” on page 10 to connect your TV.

NOTE:

Note to the Cable TV System Installer:

This reminder is provided to call the Cable TV system installer’s attention to Article 820-40 of the National Electrical Code, which provides guidelines for proper grounding - in particular, specifying that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as possible.

When you connect the RF cable to another device, be sure to use a splitter as shown below.
