2.4 Special functions
Display of the current oven temperature | The current oven temperature is displayed for a few |
(Thermotest) | seconds when you press the (Confirmation) key. |
| Note: when the oven is operated continuously, |
| temperature fluctuations of up to 5 °C, which are |
| inherent to the system, may occur. |
Power failure safeguard | When the oven is on and a power failure occurs, |
| the heating process is stopped when the power |
| returns after the failure. |
| Note: the appliance bridges a power failure lasting |
| 5 minutes without any consequences. |
Holiday safeguard | Every oven heating process is cancelled after |
| 12 hours if the oven has not been operated during |
| this time. This function is not active if the timer has |
| been programmed. |
Child lock | The child lock prevents inadvertent activation of the |
| oven. |
ECO plus mode | When you select the energy saving ECO plus mode |
| in the options menu, the light and catalytic converter |
| heating are switched off during the cooking |
| process in all the heating modes. If the timer has |
| been programmed, the oven also switches off the |
| heating element before expiry of the programmed |
| time to make use of the residual heat. |
