INSTALLATION

SET UP

Shipping damage should be brought to the immediate attention of the delivering carrier.

Place the laminator on a stable flat surface capable of supporting 130 lbs (59 kg). The surface should be at least 30" high to assure comfortable positioning during operation. All four rubber feet should be on the supporting surface.

Connect power cord to an appropriate power source. Avoid connecting other equipment to the same branch circuit to which the laminator is connected as this may cause nuisance tripping of the circuit breaker or blown fuses.

The laminator should be positioned to allow exiting film to drop freely to the floor. Accumulation of laminate as it exits the laminator may cause film to wrap around the rollers, causing a jammed condition.

Avoid placing laminator near sources of heat or cold. Avoid locating the laminator in the direct path of forced, heated or cooled air.

FEATURES GUIDE

A. POWER SWITCH: Located at the back of the machine applies power to the laminator. The “POWER” lamp will illuminate when position marked "l" is pushed. The off position marked "O" removes power from the laminator (Figure 1).

B. CONTROL PANEL: (Figure 2)

POWER LAMP: Indicates that the laminator is plugged in and the main power switch is in the “ON” (I) position.

READY LAMP: will illuminate when laminator has reached operating temperature.

SPEED CONTROL KNOB: Use to select appropriate speed. Refer to the Lamination Guide to find the recommended laminating speed. As a general rule, thicker items and film as well as dark or full ink coverage items need to run at slower speeds. These items tend to extract more heat at a quicker rate. Thinner items such as copy paper or tissure paper extract less heat and can be run at faster speeds.

RUN / STOP BUTTON: Starts and stops rollers for lamination process.

REVERSE BUTTON: Reverses roller movement to clear jams and wrap-ups.
