PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE

“F-AND A NUMBER”	● If the time display flashes “F-and a number”, you have function error code,
FLASH IN THE DISPLAY	Press the CLEAR/OFF pad. Allow the oven to cool for one hour. If the failure
	code repeats, disconnect all power to the range. Call fur service.
“OFF” APPEARS IN	* Oven is too hot for the self-clean cycle to be set.
THE DISPLAY	* Bake or Broil cycles attempted too soon after self-cleaning.
	Let the oven cool longer.
CLOCK AND	● Make sure the electrical plug is plugged into a live, properly grounded
TE$’IER IX) NOT WORK	power outlet.
	* Check for power outage.

OVEN WILL	● The plug on the range is not completely inserted in the electrical outlet.
NOT WORK	* The circuit breaker in your house has been tripped, or a fuse has been blown.
	● The oven controls are not properly set.
	● The door left in the locked position after cleaning.
OVEN LIGHT	● The light bulb is loose or defective. Tighten or replace.
DOES NOT WORK	. The switch operating the oven light is broken. Call for service.
SURFACE LIGHT	* The fluorescent liglht is loose or defective. Adjust or rep~ace.
DOES NOT WORK	● Press the switch for 2 seconds. lf the light does not come on, repeat.
	● The switch operating the light is broken. Call for service.
FOOD DOES NOT	● The oven is not set at BROIL.
BROIL PROPERLY	● The door was not left open to the broil stop position as recommended.
	● Improper shelf position being used. See the Broiling Guide.
	● Food is being cooked on hot pan.
	s Cookware is not suited for broiling.
	● Aluminum foil used on the broil pan rack has not been fitted properly
	and slit as recommended.
FOOD DOES NOT	● The oven is not set at BAKE.
ROAST OR BAKE	● Shelf position is incorrect. See the Roasting or Baking sections.
PROPERLY
	● The oven shelf is not level.
	● Incorrect cookware or cookware of improper size is being used.
	● The oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven Thermostat–
	Do It Yourself section.
OVEN TEMPERATURE	● The oven thermostat needs adjustment. See the Adjust the Oven Thermostat—
TOO HOT OR TOO COLD	Do It Yourse~sectiort.
OVEN WILL NOT	● The oven temperature is too high to set self-clean operation. Allow the range to
SELF-CLEAN	cool to room temperature and reset the controls.
	● The door latch handle not moved all the way to the right.
	● Probe is plugged in the oven. Remove the probe.
