Cable Converter Box Hookup

Use this hookup if you have a converter box with your cable
system and you want to watch and record any cable channel
to which you subscribe. Note: You will not be able to watch a
second channel while recording a cable channel.
1Connect the Cable to your Converter Box - Attach
the cable that comes out of your wall to the input connec-
tion on the back of your cable converter box.
2Connect the Converter Box to your VCR - Attach the
cable supplied with your cable converter box from the
output connection on the back of your cable converter box
to the ANTENNA IN connection on the back of your VCR.
3Connect the VCR to your TV - Attach the supplied RF
Coaxial Cable from the OUT TO TV connection on the
back of the VCR to the VHF IN or CABLE IN connection
on the back of your TV.
4Turn on the Power for your VCR, TV and converter box.
5Set the Channel on the front display panel of your
Dual-Deck VCR to 2, 3 or 4. Call your cable company to
find out which of these channels to use.
Note: With this hookup you must always keep your
Dual-Deck VCR tuned to the same channel,
and use the converter box to change channels
(even for Timer Recordings).
6Set the VCR back panel switch to channel 3 or 4,
choosing the one that you did NOT use for your cable
system in step 5.
7Set your TV to the same channel used in step 6 above.
