The Nursery Unit requires four AAA (LR03) alkaline or rechargeable batteries (not included). Rechargeable batteries can be used but they will NOT be recharged in the Nursery Unit by plugging in the AC adapter. They will have to be removed and recharged in an external charger.

To insert batteries, remove the battery cover on the back of the unit.

Insert the batteries matching positive (+) to positive (+) and negative (-) to negative (-) Replace the battery cover.

Replace the battery cover. Replace the batteries when the Low Battery Indicator turns orange and a rapid ticking is heard. If the batteries are not replaced, the light will eventually turn red and the monitor will stop working.

IMPORTANT: Use only the AC adapters included with your monitor. Do not use these adapters with any other equipment.

Insert the AC adapter into the jack marked “9V” and plug the adapter into an electrical outlet. Unit will run off of the AC adapter unless there is a power outage, in which case the unit will begin using the batteries.
