The Model G0632 has two speed ranges: 1) the low range from 0 to 1200 RPM which provides a greater torque, and 2) the high range from 0 to 3200 RPM.

Refer to the speed recommendations chart (see Figure 28) to choose the appropriate RPM for your operation. Then choose the speed range that will include the selected RPM.

To change speed ranges:

1.DISCONNECT THE LATHE FROM THE POWER SOURCE!

2.Remove the front belt access panel (see Figure 29).

3.Use the included 8mm hex wrench to loosen the motor mount cap screw just under the motor tensioning handle (see Figure 30).
