Sound settings

You can select between seven different sound settings:

You can select between ”FLAT”, ”LIVE”, ”PHANTOM”, ”EXCITE”, ”POP”, ”BEAT”, according to the type of music you are listening to.

1Select the sound setting with »DSC«.

–Display: » FLAT«, » LIVE«, » PHANTOM«, » EXCITE«, » POP«, » BEAT« or » CLEAR«.

Note:

When using the sound settings ”LIVE”, ”PHANTOM” and ”EXCITE”, the settings »SURROUND« (surround sound) and »VOCAL« are automatically activated. The »VOCAL« setting can be de-activated by pressing »VOCAL« (display: briefly, » VOCAL OFF«).

Selecting the VOCAL sound setting

1Select the sound setting by pressing »VOCAL«.

–Display: »VOCAL« and, briefly, » VOCAL ON«.

2Switch off the sound setting by pressing »VOCAL«.

–Display: briefly, » VOCAL OFF«; »VOCAL« disappears.

Note:

Activation of VOCAL deletes the sound settings »FLAT«, »POP«, »BEAT« and »CLEAR«.

Boosting the bass

1Press »X-BASS« to switch the bass boost on or off.

– Display: » X-BASS«.
