Your stereo system has two timer modes:

–The switch-on timer, which switches the stereo system on and off at a pre-set time.

–The sleep timer, which switches the stereo system off at a pre-set time.

Note:

You can only perform this setting when the device is on.

The clock on the device must already be set.

1Press »TIMER« on the device.

– Display: »￿«.

2Press »TIMER SET« on the device.

–Display: »￿«, »ON«, the hours display flashes.

3Set the switch-on time with the »MULTI JOG« function wheel and press »TIMER SET« to confirm.

–Display: »￿«, »ON«, the minutes display flashes.

4Set the minutes for the switch-on time with the »MULTI JOG« function wheel and press »TIMER SET« to confirm.

–Display: »￿«, »OFF«, the hours display flashes.

5Set the switch-on time with the »MULTI JOG« function wheel and press »TIMER SET« to confirm.

–Display: »￿«, »OFF«, the minutes display flashes.

6Set the minutes for the switch-off time with the »MULTI JOG« function wheel and press »TIMER SET« to confirm.

–Display: »￿«, the current program type flashes, e.g. »TUNER«.
