The Administrative Console is launched for a configuration requiring administrator privilege.

The Status Dashboard stays open after the User Console or the Administrative Console is launched, and once you have configured settings and closed the Console, the status is refreshed.

Opening HP ProtectTools Administrative Console

Use the HP ProtectTools Administrative Console for administrative tasks, such as setting system policies or configuring software. Access the Administrative Console by opening HP ProtectTools Security Manager:

1.From the Windows desktop, double-click the HP ProtectTools icon in the notification area, located at the far right of the taskbar.

From Control Panel, select System and Security, and then select HP ProtectTools Security Manager.

2.In the left panel of Security Manager User Console, click Administration, and then click Administrative Console.

Using Administrative Console

HP ProtectTools Administrative Console is the central location for administering HP ProtectTools Security Manager features and applications.
