7.2.6AP SINR View

This view displays the signal‐to‐interference‐and‐noise ratio (SINR) values at different areas on the layout. SINR is the ratio of the received signal to the amount of interference and ambient noise at a given location on the layout. SINR determines the maximum date rate or the link speed feasible at a given point on the layout. If SINR is poor, see the AP Interference View to determine if the amount of interference is the limiting factor.

The SINR levels are color‐coded. The color palette shows five levels of SINR values: Very Poor, Poor, Moderate, Good, and Excellent.
