|
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1.Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4.Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 35)
5.Remove the keyboard (see Keyboard on page 50)
6.Remove the heat sink/fan assembly (see Heat sink/fan assembly on page 59)
7.Remove the battery (see Battery on page 41).
NOTE: When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:
●SSD drive module (see SSD drive on page 43)
●Memory module (see Memory module on page 44)
●WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 46)
●WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 48)
