4. Turn the computer
5. Disconnect the fingerprint reader board cable (1) from the system board.
6. Remove the two Torx T8M2.5×7.0 screws (2) and the four Phillips PM2.5×3.0 screws (3) that secure the top cover to the computer.
7. Lift the rear edge of the top cover (1) and swing it up and forward until it rests at an angle.
8. Disconnect the microphone cable (2) from the system board.
9. Remove the top cover (3).
10. If it is necessary to replace the microphone, turn the top cover upside down with the front toward you.
11. Remove the microphone cable from the clips (1) built into the top cover.
