Troubleshooting

Modifying the System Registry and ODBC.INI Files

You only need to do this if you want to modify an option that you cannot configure in the ODBC control panel. An example of this is the MAXSTMT options.

To add or change an option, either edit the ODBC.INI file (for 16-bit data-sources) or run the registry editor (regedt32.exe) in Windows 95 and greater or WindowsNT. In the registry editor, look under HKEY_CURRENT_USERS / Software / Microsoft / ODBC.INI.
