(Set) Auto Reply
If you have been “allowed” by the mail administrator, you can disable the automatic read receipt function of NetMail/3000. Normally, when you read a message that has been sent with a
“read receipt” requested, the mail system automatically generates the return message confirming that you have read the specified message. If you set the AUTOREPLY option OFF, then
you will be asked if it’s ok to send the automatic return receipt when you read the message for the first time. (If you say no, you won’t be prompted again.)
To change the value of “AutoReply”, highlight that selection under the “Options” menu and hit “RETURN”. Each time you hit “RETURN” the value will alternate between “ON” and “OFF”.
