2 Conﬁguration

This chapter lists required hardware and software components and explains how to conﬁgure the disk array and Windows 2003 servers for use with HP Hardware Providers (HWP). You must complete the procedures in this chapter before you install HP HWP.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The right combination of software versions is crucial to conﬁguring a working system. Refer to the Release Notes (ReadMe ﬁle) accompanying the HP HWP installation ﬁles for information about compatible software versions and system conﬁgurations.
