1Zoom control. Tap to zoom in, or to zoom out. You can also tap and hold these onscreen buttons to gradually zoom in or out on your object.

Note This control appears only when zooming is supported by the Resolution you have selected. See “Zooming” for details.

2Touch Focus / Auto-focus indicator. Tap an area on the screen to move the Touch Focus indicator ( ). When using auto-focus, this area displays a flashing bracket ( ) when focusing. When focus is set, the flashing bracket

changes to a steady green bracket ( ).

3Remaining information indicator. In Photo, Contacts Picture, Picture Theme, and Panorama modes, this shows the remaining/available shots of pictures based on the current settings.

In Video or MMS Video mode, this shows the remaining duration that can be recorded. While recording video, this shows the recorded duration.

4Exit. Tap to exit the Camera program.

5Album. Tap to open Album. See “Viewing Photos and Videos Using Album” for details.

6Capture mode. Displays the current capture mode. Tap to open an on-screen menu where you can choose the capture mode.

7Menu. Tap to open the Menu Panel. See “Menu Panel” for details.

8On-screen control button. Tap to display or hide the on-screen controls and indicators. When using Touch Focus, tap this button to move the Touch Focus indicator ( ) back to the center of the screen.

9Virtual Camera button. This on-screen button activates auto-focus and functions as the shutter release button.

10Recording indicator. Flashes when recording a video.
