Engine Cooling Air Intake
Check that the engine’s cooling air intake is free from leaves, grass, and dirt.
If the cooling air intake is clogged, engine cooling deteriorates, which can lead to engine damage.
Throttle Cable
Check that the engine responds to throttle increases and that a good engine speed is attained at full throttle.
If doubts arise, contact the service workshop.
If adjustments are necessary, they can be made as follows for the lower cable:
1.Loosen the clamping screw for the cable’s outer casing and move the throttle to the full throttle position (no choke).
2.Push the throttle cable’s outer casing as far to the right as possible and tighten the clamping screw.
3.Set the throttle control to the choke position and check that full choke is achieved.
