Adjusting the antenna

To point the antenna you make three adjustments to the position

 

of the antenna reflector:

 

Elevation – Adjustment up and down

 

Polarization – Rotational adjustment

 

Azimuth – Side-to-side adjustment

These adjustments are illustrated in Figure 47. The corresponding mechanical adjustments on the antenna are shown in Figure 48.

Note: When recording or using antenna pointing

values, you must pay attention to whetherElevation values are positive (+) or negative (-).
