7.4 Replacing a broken return spring
WARNING!
Exercise care to ensure the spring does not fly out and cause person- al injury. Wear protective goggles.

Loosen the screw at the centre of the starter pulley and loosen the screws on the cassette. Remove the starter pulley with the cassette and spring.

Remove the broken cassette and replace it with a new one.

Tighten the screw at the centre of the starter pulley, at a tightening torque of
