Removing and replacing a FRU
When installing:
vBefore you attach the fan assembly to the computer, apply thermal grease on the
part marked | as in the following figure. |

vMake sure that the fan connector is attached firmly.
vWhen attaching the fan assembly to the frame, take care not to damage the heat
sink ( | ) of the fan assembly. |
