Modifying the Chord Recognition mode

MODIFYING THE CHORD RECOGNITION MODES

The three chord recognition modes are accessed by holding the PIANO STYLE button pressed for approximately 2 seconds.

1.Press and hold PIANO STYLE.

2.Select the required chord recognition mode with the corresponding Function buttons.

F1/F2 select ONE FINGER; F2/F3 select FINGERED 1; F3/F4 select FINGERED 2; F7/F8 select FREESTYLE.

3.Press ESCAPE to close the PIANO STYLE display.

4.Press STORE PRESET and ENTER to save to the current Preset.

The chord recognition modes are Preset pa- rameters, therefore, the Programmable Pre- sets can be independently programmed to recall different chord recognition modes.

N.B.: The recognized chord symbols appear on the main Style display. If an unrecognized chord is played, the chord symbol for the lowest note appears followed by a series of asterisks. For example: “C*****”.

N.B.: In order for the chord to be recognized (and for its symbol to be shown on the display)

.EASY PLAY must be on.
