Data Entry

Inserting numeric values, selecting options and navigating between the PS1500 parameters of the edit pages is achieved with specific controls:

Navigation (Function Select buttons F1…F8), Page+/Bank+, Page–/Bank– buttons.

Data Entry (DIAL, Function buttons F1…F8, Sliders F1…F8, Keyboard, ENTER and ES- CAPE buttons).

NAVIGATING

Use the Function buttons to navigate from one parameter to another in the Edit pages.

Selecting a parameter with the corresponding Function button activates the parameter for a change of value or status.

For example, you can change the Sound (Pro- gram Change) assigned to the Tracks of a Pre- set in Page 1 of «Edit Preset» by activating the required track with the corresponding Function button. The selected track starts to flash, indi- cating that it is ready to accept a change.

In some cases, the location of a parameter cor- responds to two (or more) function buttons: the parameter can, therefore, be selected by one of the corresponding Function buttons.

Use the Page+/Bank+, Page–/Bank– buttons to pass from one edit page to another. Use the same buttons to change Sound bank in Sound selec- tion situations.
