before proceeding.
1. Remove the screws as shown.
2. Turn the notebook over; remove the two screws from
the diskette drive connector.
3. Remove the screw from the PCMCIA slot.
4. Remove the battery terminal screw.
5. Gripping firmly as shown, separate the base cover
around the sides from the system board.
